Running P&L for 2026-07-06

Trim Review

How much of today's result was carried by a few outliers? The table recomputes the core session stats with the biggest movers removed. Trimmed rows are colored vs baseline: green = holds most of the move, amber = meaningful erosion, red = collapses or flips sign.

Trimmed trades: Single best + single worst — removed LHSW +$1541.14 (best) · LHSW −$2121.67 (worst). Top 5 + bottom 5 — removed 5 from each tail (by $ P&L).

Broad-based red session: the loss is still there after trimming the biggest movers — this wasn't one bad trade, it was the whole book tilted the wrong way.

Session verdict

LHSW dominated the session, accounting for four of the five material positions. The stock gapped 277.8%, opened at $6.80, and made its high of $7.74 at 10:23am — a range of $0.94 per share, or 13.8% open-to-high.

That is the smallest intraday move of any runner today that was active during the regular session. Despite $565.8M in dollar volume making it the most heavily traded name of the day, the stock closed exactly at the open price of $6.80, retaining 0% of its already-small move.

The 9:01am position was the right read: +$1,540, with the high still more than an hour away. The three subsequent LHSW entries — between 9:30am and 10:19am — produced two losses of -$2,120 and -$1,160 and one recovery of +$993, a combined -$2,287 on those three fills.

Material-trade net across all four LHSW positions: roughly -$747. The additional non-material LHSW activity pushed losses further, contributing a meaningful share of the session's -$3.77k total.

The structural issue with LHSW as the day's focus is what the move was worth in absolute dollars, even if executed perfectly. A 13.8% range on a $6.80 open is $0.94 of potential per share.

The only other name you traded, FXHO, offered $13.44 open-to-high — a float of just 0.2M shares, a gap of 81.5%, $157.1M in dollar volume, and 6 halts marking the intensity of the move. But FXHO made its high of $26.50 at 5:06am, six hours before the 11:01am entry that cost -$982.

The close of $19.55 represents 48% retained from open, but that number reflects close-vs-open, not what was available by mid-morning. By 11am, the peak volatility — the 6 halts, the $13+ range — was well behind the stock, and the entry caught the declining portion of a move that had already run its course.

Five other runners moved 40% or more from open to high today without any positions from you: TDTH (+128%), SPHL (+122.7%), GMEX (+121.4%), LGPS (+111.4%), and BJDX (+68.5%). BJDX made its high at 10:42am and KIDZ (+43%) at 9:59am — both during the windows when you were active in LHSW.

Whether those setups were genuinely accessible is its own question, but the gap between what today's large movers offered and what you were positioned in is significant.

Looking across the trailing seven trading days, there is a consistent pattern in which runners retained meaningful gains versus which ones closed far off their highs. Every runner that made its high after 10:00am ET — five names across the week — retained between 36% and 65% of its open-to-high move by the close: AZI 64%, LHAI 65%, CLRO 48%, LGPS 36%, LUCY 37%.

Of the 17 runners that peaked before 9:30am ET over the same span, only 2 retained more than 20%. Premarket-peak names almost uniformly bled back to or through their opens.

FXHO, with its 5:06am high, fits that pre-9:30 decay profile exactly — the 48% retained figure is from open to close, masking the fact that the tradeable peak was gone hours earlier. LHSW made its high at 10:23am, which technically puts it in the holder-timing group, but a 13.8% total range is so compressed that even capturing the full move would have been modest in dollar terms relative to the names with 60%+ ranges that were available today.
