A qualitative run-through of every trade from 2026-03-09: setups, thought process, and outcomes.

Running P&L for 2026-03-09

SNDK showed up early in the day with a solid setup that caught my attention. My first entry was at 521.00, and I was looking to capitalize on momentum. The tape was strong, with buyers stepping in and pushing the price higher. I managed to ride it to a best exit of 571.54, with an average exit at 561.62, netting me a profit of $406. The trade felt like a classic scalp — quick, decisive, and it executed well as the stock moved steadily upward without much seller pressure.

Next up was AZI, which I entered at 0.7890. The trade was primarily a scalp as well, and I saw some decent buying interest as it approached VWAP. It was an extended entry, but I felt the momentum was there. The stock pushed up to 0.8500 as buyers continued to hold the bids, allowing me to exit with a best exit of 0.8500 and an average exit at 0.8473, securing a $395 profit. The volume was decent, and it had a nice move; it felt like the stock was finding its footing before pushing higher.

Throughout the day, I noticed significant action in the technology and industrial sectors, particularly with names like TURB and CIIT. TURB gapped up early and traded like a thin name, which often leads to volatility. CIIT, on the other hand, had an impressive relative volume, indicating strong interest and potential for movement. These sectors were especially active, with traders seemingly rotating into names that had good setups.

The real estate names like LRHC also caught my eye, but they were less predictable. The low float meant they could move sharply, but the tape showed sellers were aggressive at times, making it tough to find reliable entries. I stayed away from those unless I saw a clear setup.

I took a few other trades that didn’t yield the same results, but they were part of the process. The win rate was lower today, which is always a reminder of the market's unpredictability. I had to be more selective in my entries, especially given the mixed signals from some of the names I was watching.

What I did well was identifying the strong moves early, particularly with SNDK. I executed that trade effectively and capitalized on it. However, I could have been more strategic about managing my risk on some of the other trades I took, which didn’t pan out as expected.

Trading grade: B — Solid execution on the winning trades, but I need to tighten up my risk management on the losers.

Tomorrow brings new opportunities, and I’m looking forward to refining my approach.
