A qualitative run-through of every trade from 2026-03-06: setups, thought process, and outcomes.
PRSO was the name of the day, and I was active right from the open. My first trade was a long position at 1.66, taking advantage of the momentum as it bounced off the 1m9 level around 1.60. The stock showed solid buying interest, and I managed to exit for a profit at 1.78, netting $364. It felt good to see that initial bounce play out cleanly.
Later, I jumped back into PRSO again at 1.65. The action was still strong, and I caught it just as it was moving back up through the 1m9 and 1m20 levels, which were also around 1.72. This trade worked well too; I exited again at 1.77 for a $599 gain. Both of these trades capitalized on short-term momentum, and it was nice to see the follow-through.
However, things took a turn when I attempted to push my luck with a third entry on PRSO at 1.80. This time, the stock was extended above key levels, and it didn’t hold up. I cut the position quickly at 1.59, taking a loss of $842. The tape shifted, and sellers were aggressive, which made it hard to hold onto the position. I misread the momentum there, thinking it would continue to push higher.
I then shifted my focus to TURB, entering long at 4.74. The stock was volatile, but it quickly reversed after my entry. I had to cut my losses at 4.60, resulting in a $421 hit. The action was choppy, and I didn't see the strength I was hoping for. It was a reminder that not every setup will pan out, and I need to be more discerning.
Towards midday, I tried to re-enter PRSO again at 1.93. I was looking for a bounce back after the earlier downturn, but it didn’t materialize. I exited at 1.84, resulting in another loss of $784. The momentum just wasn’t there, and the stock continued to face heavy selling pressure, which made it tough to hold.
Overall, it was a day filled with rapid trades and a lot of movement, but not all of it was in my favor. The semiconductor sector, particularly with PRSO, showed significant volatility, but the tape shifted quickly, and I failed to adapt.
What I did well: I capitalized on the early momentum with PRSO; those initial trades were executed well.
What I did poorly: I didn't adjust my strategy quickly enough when the momentum shifted against me.
Trading grade: C+ — Solid entries on the first two trades, but poor execution on the later trades cost me.
Tomorrow is another day to refine my strategy and focus on the right setups.
