Running P&L for 2026-03-12

I caught a nice move on AGRZ early in the day that set the tone for my trading. I entered long at 0.6973, looking to capitalize on short-term momentum. The tape was clean, with bids holding up and a solid push off the 1-minute 9 EMA. This setup played out well, and I was able to exit at 0.7279 for a profit of $326, which was a solid 1.12R return. The stock traded strong, holding above key levels and showing good volume, which reinforced my decision to take the long.

Later, I jumped back into AGRZ again. My entry was at 0.8074, and the stock had a strong tape, pushing up through the 1-minute 9 EMA once more. I was able to take profits at 0.8454, netting another $360 and a 1.24R return. The stock was maintaining its strength and held up well, which made it easier to ride the trend. This one felt like it was building on the earlier momentum, and it followed through nicely.

However, things took a turn when I switched gears to BATL. I entered at 23.08, expecting a quick scalp as it had gapped up and was showing some initial strength. But the price action was choppy, and sellers were aggressive at the higher levels. I had to cut it for a loss at 21.54, which stung at -$679 and -2.33R. The stock simply didn’t hold its ground, and I got caught in a fading move that I didn’t anticipate.

I managed to get back on track with another trade in AGRZ, entering at 0.8782. This was a continuation of my earlier trades, and I was looking for that follow-through again. The tape was still strong, and I was able to exit at 0.9423 for a gain of $341, or 1.17R. It was nice to see the follow-through on this one as well, confirming that the stock had solid momentum.

Overall, the session was a mixed bag but highlighted the importance of reading the tape and knowing when to cut losses quickly. The healthcare and industrial sectors were particularly active today, with AGRZ showing the most promise. The action felt concentrated, and I was able to capitalize on that movement effectively with my long trades.

What I did well: I executed my entries on AGRZ effectively, capitalizing on strong tape and momentum.
What I did poorly: I misjudged the strength of BATL and held too long when the sellers showed aggression.
Trading grade: B+ — solid execution on AGRZ but a misstep on BATL that I should have cut quicker.
