A qualitative run-through of every trade from 2026-03-12: setups, thought process, and outcomes.
Day P&L: $+92.51 | Total R: +0.32R
The morning kicked off with ATPC, where I took a couple of early scalps. My first entry was at 5.92, but it was a quick misfire that ended up costing me $3.45. I quickly adjusted my strategy, and my second entry at 5.81 netted a small win of $10.63. The tape on ATPC was choppy; it seemed to struggle at holding above the 5.85 level after a brief push, indicating a weak underlying demand. I should have recognized the risk and scaled back on my size.
As the day progressed, I shifted my focus to BMBL, where I spotted a quick opportunity around the $4 mark. I entered at 4.00 and exited at 4.01 for a $44 gain. The stock had a nice pop off the open, which made it feel like a solid gap and go play. The volume was decent, and it showed some strength, but I didn’t capitalize on it fully. After that, it felt like I was overtrading, trying to catch the momentum that wasn't there in ATPC, leading to a series of losses.
ATPC continued to be a thorn in my side. I took multiple longs, but at 5.64, I was hit with a significant loss of $32.82. The stock was clearly rejecting the VWAP, and I should have read that tape better. I compounded the issue with another entry at 5.85, which ended up costing me $91.00. Each time I tried to catch a bounce, the stock would drop lower. I should have cut my losses quicker instead of trying to force a reversal that wasn't happening.
Switching gears to AGRZ, I managed to find some rhythm. I entered at 0.608 and exited at 0.613 for a nice $48.88 win. The stock had a relatively low float, which contributed to the volatility, and I felt the tape was more favorable here. After a few ups and downs, I adjusted my strategy to be more selective. I caught a strong move at 0.724, where I rode it up to 0.735 for a $124.23 gain. The key was recognizing the strength and holding on for the ride.
However, I also took a beating with AGRZ, entering at 0.732 and exiting at 0.709 for a $240.45 loss. The stock was testing key support levels, but I didn’t respect the tape's signals. It felt like a classic case of ignoring the warning signs, and it hurt my overall P&L for the day. I was able to recover a bit later with a solid $325.93 win, but the damage was done.
BATL was another name I chased. I entered at 22.50, hoping for a breakout, but it quickly reversed, costing me $678.76. That was a hard lesson in patience; the stock was clearly not ready for a move. I should have waited for a better setup rather than jumping in prematurely. The tape was weak, and I ignored it in favor of my bias.
As the afternoon rolled in, ELPW gave me a couple of small wins, but nothing to write home about. I was just trying to salvage the day with some minor scalps. Nothing felt clean; it was more about getting back some of my losses than finding good setups.
Reflecting on the day, I see both wins and losses, but mostly lessons. I need to respect the tape and cut losses sooner. I also overtraded, especially with ATPC and BATL, trying to force plays that weren’t there. Tomorrow, I need to focus on patience and wait for better setups rather than forcing trades.
What I did well: I was able to identify some good opportunities in AGRZ and execute on them. My reads on BMBL were solid, and I capitalized on the momentum there.
What I did poorly: I overtraded ATPC and BATL, ignoring the tape and not respecting my risk levels. I also didn't cut losses quickly enough, which cost me more than it should have.
Trading grade: B+ Entries were mostly clean, but I gave back too much on some revenge trades and didn't manage my risk effectively.
Takeaway for tomorrow: Focus on quality over quantity in trades and respect the tape signals. Patience pays off.
