A qualitative run-through of every trade from 2026-02-10: setups, thought process, and outcomes.
Caught a nice move with JZXN early on, which set the tone for the day. My first entry was at 2.57, and the setup was a sub vwap trap. The stock had dipped below VWAP and then reclaimed, giving me a clear opportunity. It pushed up to a best exit of 2.79, and I ended up closing at an average of 2.72, netting a solid +$677 for the trade. The tape showed strong bids coming in, and buyers were holding up well, which added to my conviction for the trade.
However, I then re-entered JZXN later at 2.73, also looking for that sub vwap trap again. This time, the stock didn’t hold its strength. After a brief push, it faded back down, and I exited at 2.56 for a loss of -$757. The bids didn’t hold up as they had earlier in the day, and sellers were aggressive, which was a clear signal to cut the position.
Midday, I shifted my focus to QNCX. I entered at 0.4613, hoping to catch a quick scalp. Unfortunately, the momentum didn’t materialize as expected. The stock was choppy, and I cut it at 0.4382, resulting in a loss of -$643. The tape was showing heavy seller pressure, and I couldn't get a read on any solid support.
Towards the end of the day, I saw another opportunity with QNCX, entering at 0.5287 during a washout long setup. This time, the trade worked out better. The stock had pulled back sharply and then started to reclaim some ground. I managed to exit at 0.5569 for a gain of +$405. The move showed nice follow-through, and the bids were holding well, which gave me the confidence to stay in until I saw the right exit point.
Looking at the broader market, the healthcare sector was buzzing, particularly with names like EVMN and QNCX. The volume was rotating heavily, and the rvol on QNCX indicated a lot of action. The biotech space was definitely where the volatility was concentrated, and I leaned into that, but it was a mixed bag overall.
What I did well: I capitalized on the early momentum with JZXN. What I did poorly: I didn’t manage the later JZXN trade effectively and let it get away from me.
Trading grade: B for identifying good setups but lacking execution discipline on the follow-through trades.
Ready for what tomorrow brings.
