Running P&L for 2026-02-09

UOKA was the focus early on, and it certainly delivered a mix of opportunities and challenges. I started with a long position at 3.83, looking to capitalize on a sub VWAP trap setup. The stock had gapped up significantly, and the volume was heavy — a classic sign of potential volatility. However, I misjudged the entry, as it quickly faded after my initial buy, and I had to cut for a loss at 3.52, totaling -$1,433. The tape showed aggressive sellers coming in, and despite the initial hopes, it was clear I was on the wrong side of that move.

A few minutes later, I saw another chance with UOKA at 3.64. This time, I entered with a tighter stop and managed to catch a bounce as it reclaimed VWAP. The trade worked out well, and I exited at 3.94 for a gain of +$1,526. The bids were holding up nicely, and the stock was showing signs of strength after the earlier pullback. It felt like I had found the right rhythm, and the momentum continued to build.

I tried to ride that momentum again with another entry at 4.05. Unfortunately, it quickly turned against me, and I had to cut that position at 3.97, resulting in a loss of -$444. The stock's action was choppy, and it felt like sellers were still aggressive. I should have recognized the shift in the tape sooner.

Later on, I took another shot at UOKA at 3.78, hoping to catch another bounce. However, that trade also went south, and I exited at 3.66 for a loss of -$430. The price action was confirming that it was tough to hold long positions as sellers remained heavy throughout the morning.

Switching gears, I then turned my attention to FCUV, entering at 11.43. This was a parabolic squeeze setup, and it looked promising at first. However, the stock couldn't maintain its momentum and I ended up cutting for a loss at 10.36, totaling -$585. The tape showed quick sell-offs, and it became clear that the buying interest had waned.

I finally found some relief with BRLS. I entered at 1.29, and the stock showed solid support near the 1m20 level. I managed to exit at 1.42 for a gain of +$329. This trade felt like a nice change of pace after the earlier struggles, as the action was more stable, and the bids were holding up well.

Later in the day, I took another position in BRLS at 1.44, this time on a washout long setup. I caught the bounce and exited at 1.50 for a gain of +$328. The price action was much clearer, and it felt good to see the follow-through on this trade.

What I did well: I was able to identify and capitalize on the stronger setups in BRLS after struggling with the earlier trades.

What I did poorly: I mismanaged my entries in UOKA, letting the tape dictate my decisions rather than sticking to my plan.

Trading grade: C+ — I executed well on a couple of trades but struggled to hold my positions and read the tape effectively during the more volatile moves.

Looking forward to regrouping tomorrow and sharpening my focus.
