A qualitative run-through of every trade from 2026-03-30: setups, thought process, and outcomes.
Schedule note (through 4/1): I'm writing from Japan. The US market opens around 10:30pm local, so I mostly trade premarket and roughly the first hour of the regular session before wrapping up — I generally miss whatever develops later in the day.
EEIQ
I went long EEIQ at 12.89 on the whole-dollar break through $13 into premarket highs — a liquidity continuation read, not a washout long (washout implies you’re buying a flush after the name is already extended lower). I got some shares out at 13.50, but sold the majority for a loss at 11.84 when the push didn’t stick and the tape turned over on me.
ELAB
I went long on ELAB at 3.77 on a flat top under the highs. The price held well above the 1m9 level, and it pushed up to 3.97. I sold into strength at this level as it showed solid momentum.
ELAB
I went back into ELAB at 4.14, aiming for a quick trade. The momentum was still there, so I sold into extension at 4.45, capturing a solid move.
ELAB
I entered ELAB again at 4.14 but this time the trade was not in my favor. I exited at 4.01, as the stock failed to maintain its strength and started to pull back.
ELAB
I took another entry on ELAB at 3.94, still looking for a quick move. The stock reacted positively, and I sold into strength at 4.06.
SNDK
I entered SNDK at 615.00, but the action turned against me. The stock started to fade, and I exited at 605.07, managing to limit my loss.
ASTC
I bought ASTC at 4.16, seeing a sub VWAP trap setup. I sold the top as it halted down at 4.43 because I didn't trust the strength yet.
ASTC
I took a position in ASTC at 4.32, but this trade didn't work out. I exited at 4.06 after the stock showed weakness.
ASTC
I entered ASTC at 4.88, and the stock pushed up nicely. I sold into extension at 5.17, locking in a good profit.
ASTC
I bought ASTC at 5.55, and it moved up to 5.77. I sold into strength at this level, capturing a decent gain.
ASTC
I went long on ASTC at 5.75. The stock ran well, and I sold into extension at 6.37, adding to my gains for the day.
What I did well:
I executed well on several trades, particularly in ELAB where I was able to capture strong moves and lock in profits.
Trading grade: B+ — good entries but some losses that could have been managed better.
Closing thoughts:
Overall, it was a mixed day with a few solid trades but also some frustrating losses. I’ll focus on tightening my entries and exits in the next session.
