A qualitative run-through of every trade from 2026-03-17: setups, thought process, and outcomes.
LNAI
I entered LNAI at 0.5678 after seeing a strong opening and some momentum behind it. The stock started moving up quickly, and I sold into strength at 0.7205 as it began to look extended. Once I was out, it pulled back shortly after.
UCAR
I bought UCAR at 0.9799 as it was showing strong bids and I saw potential for a quick move. The stock continued to push and I sold the top as it halted up at 1.10.
UCAR
I bought the bottom when I saw it wasn't going lower at 1.18. The stock squeezed hard, and I sold the top when I saw it wasn't going to halt up at 1.74. Once I was out, it then reversed again into a halt down.
UCAR
I entered again at 1.28 for a bounce after two halts down. It bounced from my entry, but couldn't halt up, so I sold at 1.44 as it halted down. Once I was out, it reversed into a halt down.
CREG
I entered CREG at 2.32 after I noticed buyers were stepping in. The stock moved up, and I sold into extension at 2.63 as it showed signs of exhaustion.
What I did well: I executed clean entries and exits based on the tape.
What I did poorly: I could have managed my risk better on the UCAR trades.
Trading grade: B+ — good execution on entries, but some exits could have been tighter.
Looking forward to tomorrow.
