Running P&L for 2025-12-18

I kicked off the day with a quick trade in ATHA, looking to capitalize on a sub VWAP trap. My entry was at 7.61, right near the 1-minute 9 EMA at 7.41, which set up nicely for a bounce. The stock pushed up to a best exit of 7.81, with an average exit at 7.71, netting me a small gain of $301. The tape showed buyers stepping in once we reclaimed VWAP, which gave me the confidence to hold through the initial volatility.

Moving into mid-morning, I took another long in PAVS, also a sub VWAP trap. My entry was at 3.48, close to the 1-minute 9 EMA at 3.37. The stock had some decent momentum, allowing for a best exit of 3.72 and an average exit of 3.57, resulting in a profit of $372. The buyers were active, pushing the price higher quickly, and the tape showed solid support as it moved up.

After that, I turned my focus to FJET, and that’s where things started to get tricky. I entered long at 9.55, looking for a VWAP reclaim. However, the stock didn’t hold up as expected; sellers were aggressive, and I had to exit at 8.59 for a loss of $577. The volume was choppy, and it was clear that the buyers were struggling to maintain control.

I tried to get back into FJET with a washout long at 11.90, but it didn’t go my way. I exited at 11.30, taking a loss of $720. This was an extended entry, and the stock was under pressure, with sellers staying heavy. I should have recognized that the momentum was fading.

In a moment of clarity, I jumped back into FJET again at 11.92 for another washout long. This time, it turned around nicely, and I exited at 12.84 for a solid gain of $1,000. The buyers finally stepped in, and the tape showed a clear shift in momentum as it pushed higher.

I continued trading FJET, entering at 13.02 for another washout long, but I had to cut it at 12.35, resulting in a loss of $475. The stock had a hard time holding above 13, and the aggressive selling pressure was evident on the tape.

I tried again with another washout long at 13.18 but ended up exiting at 12.51 for a loss of $390. The buyers were still struggling, and I realized I was trying to catch a falling knife.

Then came a slight turnaround. I entered at 13.25 during a parabolic squeeze and managed to exit at 14.06 for a gain of $601. This was a strong move, and the tape showed buyers stepping in aggressively, pushing the stock higher.

After that, I went for another washout long at 14.68, exiting at 15.82 for a profit of $839. The stock formed a bull flag, and the buyers were finally showing strength. It felt good to see some follow-through on this trade.

Late in the day, I took a washout long in FJET again at 8.50, exiting at 9.26 for a nice gain of $606. The stock had a solid move, and it seemed like buyers were finally stepping in consistently.

I also took a position in AFJK, entering at 76.93 during a parabolic squeeze, but I had to cut for a loss at 73.40, netting a loss of $353. The entry was extended above key levels, and the selling pressure was evident as it failed to hold.

Finally, I tried a washout long in ZNB, entering at 0.8892, but ended up exiting at 0.7500 for a loss of $984. This trade was a tough one; the stock gapped up but quickly lost steam, and I had to cut my losses.

What I did well: I executed well on a couple of trades where the tape showed strong support and buyers stepping in.

What I did poorly: I was too aggressive on FJET, trying to catch the bottom multiple times without confirming strength.

Trading grade: C — while I had some good trades, I let a few losses compound due to poor decision-making in choppy conditions.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, I’ll be more selective and patient with my entries.
